Beautiful feet matter — especially in summer, when we often bare them and show them off in open shoes.
But a good pedicure isn't just beautifully painted nails. Taking care of the skin on the feet and around the nails is just as important. An e-file pedicure works best here. It is extremely fast, convenient and, above all, very effective.
What does an e-file pedicure look like step by step?
- Disinfection and consultation – the feet are disinfected with an antibacterial product, and the technician assesses the condition of the skin, nails and any calluses or corns.
- Shortening and filing the nails – a drill or nippers give the nails the right shape and length.
- Removing the cuticles – a gentle bit removes the cuticle around the nail plate, without soaking and without the risk of nicks.
- Working on calloused skin and corns – bits of various grits sand down the hard, calloused skin on the heels and soles, smoothing the foot.
Buffing the nail plate – a bit polishes the nail surface, preparing it for hybrid or traditional polish. - Moisturising and foot massage – finally the feet are moisturised with a lotion or cream, which additionally regenerates them.
- Applying polish – the styling ends by painting the nails in the chosen hybrid or classic polish colour.
