Sintered Carbide Cylinder Bit (140.140.023) finds application in both cosmetology and podiatry, and thanks to fine cross cuts is ideal for cuticle work (skill level 1.5/5). It works well for removing hybrid gel polish from the nail plate, correcting gel and acrylic around the nail fold, smoothing hardened nails, treating peri-nail corns and thick skin around the nail fold, cleaning the nail from the underside, as well as for treating and removing nail fungus. Works both dry and with water cooling.

Remember to clean and sterilize the tool before first and every subsequent use.

Sterilization and cleaning

Before first use, disinfect the instruments in a disinfectant solution for 30 minutes. Do not use disinfectants based on active oxygen.
After each use, remove any organic particles. Then clean the instruments ultrasonically or under running water. Repeat if necessary. After cleaning, dry the tool, otherwise it may corrode. Sterilize the instruments under the following conditions:

at 1 atm overpressure at 121°C for 15 minutes, or at 2 atm at 132–134°C for 5 minutes.
