Description

Sintered carbide bit (257.140.012) with fine grit is ideal for cuticle work – used in both cosmetology and podiatry, recommended for beginners (skill level 3/5). The pointed end and tapered tip provide deeper penetration and access to hard-to-reach areas, so the bit works well for correcting gel and acrylic around the nail fold, smoothing thickened nails, working on nail-fold corns and thick skin around the nail fold, as well as treating and removing nail fungus and removing epidermis from sulci and sinuses. Works dry and with water cooling.

Sterilization and cleaning

Before first use, disinfect the instruments in a disinfectant solution for 30 minutes. Do not use disinfectants based on active oxygen.
After each use, remove any organic particles. Then clean the instruments ultrasonically or under running water. Repeat if necessary. After cleaning, dry the tool, otherwise it may corrode. Sterilize the instruments under the following conditions:

at 1 atm overpressure at 121°C for 15 minutes, or at 2 atm at 132–134°C for 5 minutes.
