Description

Sintered carbide bit olive (277.190.023) with standard grit is used in both cosmetology and podiatry, making it ideal for quickly working on cuticles (skill level 3/5, blue band). Thanks to standard cross-cuts and a tapered tip it allows access to hard-to-reach areas. It works well for removing gel and acrylic, removing cuticles without irritating the nail plate, filing nails from underneath, removing epidermis from sulci and sinuses, working on nail-fold corns, thick skin around the nail fold, and nails affected by fungal infection. Works dry and with water cooling.

Sterilization and cleaning

Before first use, disinfect the instruments in a disinfectant solution for 30 minutes. Do not use disinfectants based on active oxygen.
After each use, remove any organic particles. Then clean the instruments ultrasonically or under running water. Repeat if necessary. After cleaning, dry the tool, otherwise it may corrode. Sterilize the instruments under the following conditions:

at 1 atm overpressure at 121°C for 15 minutes, or at 2 atm at 132–134°C for 5 minutes.
