Description

Sintered carbide ZRN ball bit (ZRN-001 HP 021) with standard grit allows slightly more intensive work and is ideal for finishing (skill level 3/5, blue band). The bit works very effectively and does not damage healthy client tissue – it is excellent for working on skin and nails, removing nail art such as glitter and crystals, removing areas affected by fungal infections, corns, warts, calluses, fissures, as well as overgrown cuticle flaps and hangnails. Works both dry and with water cooling.

The gold ZRN coating (zirconium nitride) reduces the overheating effect during use, extends the lifespan of the bit and provides resistance to sterilization agents, and thanks to better biocompatibility it is ideal for working on skin and nails.

Sterilization and cleaning

Before first use, disinfect the instruments in a disinfectant solution for 30 minutes. Do not use disinfectants based on active oxygen.
After each use, remove any organic particles. Then clean the instruments ultrasonically or under running water. Repeat if necessary. After cleaning, dry the tool, otherwise it may corrode. Sterilize the instruments under the following conditions:

at 1 atm overpressure at 121°C for 15 minutes, or at 2 atm at 132–134°C for 5 minutes.
