Sintered carbide bit (275.140.060) with fine cross-cuts is a versatile tool used in both cosmetology and podiatry. In cosmetology it works well for removing hybrid gel polish from the natural nail plate and gel or acrylic surfaces, as well as correcting gel and acrylic around the nail fold. In podiatry it helps with smoothing thickened nails, working on nail-fold corns and thick skin around the nail fold, as well as treating and final removal of nail fungus. Works both dry and with water cooling.

Sterilization and cleaning

Before first use, disinfect the instruments in a disinfectant solution for 30 minutes. Do not use disinfectants based on active oxygen.
After each use, remove any organic particles. Then clean the instruments ultrasonically or under running water. Repeat if necessary. After cleaning, dry the tool, otherwise it may corrode. Sterilize the instruments under the following conditions:

at 1 atm overpressure at 121°C for 15 minutes, or at 2 atm at 132–134°C for 5 minutes.
