Description

Sintered carbide bit pine cone (274.190.060) is used in both cosmetology and podiatry, making it ideal for removing hybrid gel polish, gel, and acrylic (skill level 3/5, blue band). The tapered tip allows access to hard-to-reach areas, so the bit works well for shaping the perfect nail, working on cuticles, removing thick skin around the nail fold, shortening and filing nails from underneath, as well as treating nails affected by fungal infection. Works dry and with water cooling.

Remember to clean and sterilize the tool before first and every subsequent use.

Sterilization and cleaning

Before first use, disinfect the instruments in a disinfectant solution for 30 minutes. Do not use disinfectants based on active oxygen.
After each use, remove any organic particles. Then clean the instruments ultrasonically or under running water. Repeat if necessary. After cleaning, dry the tool, otherwise it may corrode. Sterilize the instruments under the following conditions:

at 1 atm overpressure at 121°C for 15 minutes, or at 2 atm at 132–134°C for 5 minutes.
