Description

Sintered carbide bit 143.190.050 with standard cross-cut grooves and rounded cylinder shape is a versatile tool for manicure, cosmetology and podiatry. It excels at removing hybrid gel polish, gel and acrylic, modelling and shortening nails, as well as treating pathologically changed nails. Thanks to a diameter of 5.0 mm it provides fast and precise material removal while maintaining full control over the work.

The bit is also useful for treating corns around the nail folds and removing thickened skin near the nail folds. It is designed for use dry as well as with water cooling, at a recommended speed of 15–20 thousand RPM. The tool can be sterilized in an autoclave, making it excellent for professional cosmetic and podiatry clinics.

Sterilization and cleaning

Before first use, disinfect the instruments in a disinfectant solution for 30 minutes. Do not use disinfectants based on active oxygen.
After each use, remove any organic particles. Then clean the instruments ultrasonically or under running water. Repeat if necessary. After cleaning, dry the tool, otherwise it may corrode. Sterilize the instruments under the following conditions:

at 1 atm overpressure at 121°C for 15 minutes, or at 2 atm at 132–134°C for 5 minutes.
