Sintered carbide bit ball (001.175.050) with standard grit allows for somewhat deeper intervention and is ideal for finishing work (skill level 3/5, blue band). Thanks to standard straight cuts it works well for removing overgrown cuticle flaps, hangnails, and calluses, as well as areas affected by fungal infection, hard corns, warts, calluses, and fissures. Works both dry and with water cooling.

Sterilization and cleaning

Before first use, disinfect the instruments in a disinfectant solution for 30 minutes. Do not use disinfectants based on active oxygen.
After each use, remove any organic particles. Then clean the instruments ultrasonically or under running water. Repeat if necessary. After cleaning, dry the tool, otherwise it may corrode. Sterilize the instruments under the following conditions:

at 1 atm overpressure at 121°C for 15 minutes, or at 2 atm at 132–134°C for 5 minutes.
