Description

Sintered carbide bit ball (001.175.010) with standard cuts is ideal for removing overgrown cuticle flaps, hangnails, and calluses (skill level 3/5). The bit works very effectively and does not damage client's tissue – it is also used in podiatry for removing areas affected by fungal infection, cleaning hard-to-reach areas of the nail plate with pathological changes, evacuating secretion blocked under the nail plate, and removing hard corns, warts, calluses, and fissures. Works dry and with water cooling.

Remember to clean and sterilize the tool before first and every subsequent use.

Sterilization and cleaning

Before first use, disinfect the instruments in a disinfectant solution for 30 minutes. Do not use disinfectants based on active oxygen.
After each use, remove any organic particles. Then clean the instruments ultrasonically or under running water. Repeat if necessary. After cleaning, dry the tool, otherwise it may corrode. Sterilize the instruments under the following conditions:

at 1 atm overpressure at 121°C for 15 minutes, or at 2 atm at 132–134°C for 5 minutes.
