Description

Sintered carbide Safe End ZRN cone bit (ZRN-221XUF HP.060) with a safe, non-working top ensures safe work around the nail folds in the proximal and distal area (skill level 1/5). Safe End minimizes the risk of injury, and the bit is excellent for removing hybrid gel polish and gel from the natural nail plate and working on the built nail. It has a universal shank diameter of 2.3 mm and works both dry and with water cooling.

The gold ZRN coating extends the lifespan of the bit, reduces the overheating effect during use and provides resistance to sterilization agents, while also offering better biocompatibility – ideal for working on skin and nails. The bit can be sterilized in an autoclave.

Sterilization and cleaning

Before first use, disinfect the instruments in a disinfectant solution for 30 minutes. Do not use disinfectants based on active oxygen.
After each use, remove any organic particles. Then clean the instruments ultrasonically or under running water. Repeat if necessary. After cleaning, dry the tool, otherwise it may corrode. Sterilize the instruments under the following conditions:

at 1 atm overpressure at 121°C for 15 minutes, or at 2 atm at 132–134°C for 5 minutes.
