Description

Diamond disc bit (048.514.060) with fine grit allows incredible control in use thanks to its gentleness (skill level 2/5, red band). It is ideal for shortening the nail plate – it works well for shortening healthy natural nail plates, deformed nail plates, and for removing hardened epidermis from feet. It can be used both dry and with water cooling.

Remember to clean and sterilise the tool before its first use and before each subsequent use.

Sterilization and cleaning

Before first use, disinfect the instruments in a disinfectant solution for 30 minutes. Do not use disinfectants based on active oxygen.
After each use, remove any organic particles. Then clean the instruments ultrasonically or under running water. Repeat if necessary. After cleaning, dry the tool, otherwise it may corrode. Sterilize the instruments under the following conditions:

at 1 atm overpressure at 121°C for 15 minutes, or at 2 atm at 132–134°C for 5 minutes.
