Description

Diamond bit (068.524.060) is a versatile tool for the first stage of cuticle work, available in a rounded disc shape with a blue band (skill level 1/5). Standard grit allows for slightly greater intervention, making it suitable for processing skin and nails, shortening natural, gel, and acrylic nails, processing thickened nails infected with fungus, removing discolouration, unevenness and ridges, as well as hardened epidermis from feet. It works both dry and with water cooling.

The bit can be fully sterilised in an autoclave – remember to clean and sterilise the tool before each use.

Sterilization and cleaning

Before first use, disinfect the instruments in a disinfectant solution for 30 minutes. Do not use disinfectants based on active oxygen.
After each use, remove any organic particles. Then clean the instruments ultrasonically or under running water. Repeat if necessary. After cleaning, dry the tool, otherwise it may corrode. Sterilize the instruments under the following conditions:

at 1 atm overpressure at 121°C for 15 minutes, or at 2 atm at 132–134°C for 5 minutes.
