Diamond podiatry bit – buffer (260.524.060) is a professional bit with standard grit (skill level 2/5), designed for treating more callused and hardened skin as well as comprehensive nail care. Thanks to its large working surface it excels at removing corns, calluses and hard corns, as well as polishing and smoothing the natural nail plate. The bit can be used both dry and with water cooling, ensuring comfortable and efficient work.

The large working surface also enables polishing natural nails, removing base coat residue, polishing gel, matting the natural nail plate, smoothing calluses on the nail folds and shortening the nail plate. This is a versatile tool that performs excellently both during professional podiatry treatments and in the daily work of a nail technician.

Sterilization and cleaning

Before first use, disinfect the instruments in a disinfectant solution for 30 minutes. Do not use disinfectants based on active oxygen.
After each use, remove any organic particles. Then clean the instruments ultrasonically or under running water. Repeat if necessary. After cleaning, dry the tool, otherwise it may corrode. Sterilize the instruments under the following conditions:

at 1 atm overpressure at 121°C for 15 minutes, or at 2 atm at 132–134°C for 5 minutes.
