Description

Diamond truncated cone bit (172.524.040) with standard grit allows for slightly more intervention and is recommended for more hardened and tough cuticles (skill level 2/5, blue band). It is ideal for the first stage of cuticle work – it can even replace a pusher! It is suitable for cleaning the nail plate, pushing back and retracting cuticles, initially removing the epidermis, pushing back tissue with the flat surface, matting the natural nail plate, and smoothing the step between the natural nail plate and the built-up nail enhancement.

It can be used both dry and with water cooling.

Sterilization and cleaning

Before first use, disinfect the instruments in a disinfectant solution for 30 minutes. Do not use disinfectants based on active oxygen.
After each use, remove any organic particles. Then clean the instruments ultrasonically or under running water. Repeat if necessary. After cleaning, dry the tool, otherwise it may corrode. Sterilize the instruments under the following conditions:

at 1 atm overpressure at 121°C for 15 minutes, or at 2 atm at 132–134°C for 5 minutes.
