Description

Diamond podiatry bit – flame (243.514.031) is a professional bit with fine grit (skill level 2/5), designed for precise work in podiatry treatments and nail styling. The flame shape enables accurate treatment of nails, cuticles and feet, making the bit excellent for filing the natural nail plate, smoothing its edges, deep removal of the epidermis and penetrating the nail pocket. The bit is designed for use dry as well as with water cooling, ensuring comfort and precision during treatments.

Thanks to its versatility the bit is also useful for shortening the nail plate and treating callused skin, corns and calluses, making it an indispensable tool both in a podiatry clinic and during professional foot care treatments.

Sterilization and cleaning

Before first use, disinfect the instruments in a disinfectant solution for 30 minutes. Do not use disinfectants based on active oxygen.
After each use, remove any organic particles. Then clean the instruments ultrasonically or under running water. Repeat if necessary. After cleaning, dry the tool, otherwise it may corrode. Sterilize the instruments under the following conditions:

at 1 atm overpressure at 121°C for 15 minutes, or at 2 atm at 132–134°C for 5 minutes.
