Description

Diamond bits (110.524.014-050) are tools for nail technicians looking for slightly more intervention in the first step of cuticle work. Their standard grit and cylinder shape with a blue band (skill level 3/5) are effective for cleaning the nail plate, pushing back and lifting cuticles, as well as removing hardened skin, corns, calluses and hard corns. They can be used both dry and with water cooling.

Remember to clean and sterilize the tool before the first and every subsequent use.

Sterilization and cleaning

Before first use, disinfect the instruments in a disinfectant solution for 30 minutes. Do not use disinfectants based on active oxygen.
After each use, remove any organic particles. Then clean the instruments ultrasonically or under running water. Repeat if necessary. After cleaning, dry the tool, otherwise it may corrode. Sterilize the instruments under the following conditions:

at 1 atm overpressure at 121°C for 15 minutes, or at 2 atm at 132–134°C for 5 minutes.
