Diamond cylinder bits (110.514.014-025) are tools for nail technicians who value precision and gentle control during work. The fine grit and cylinder shape with a red band (skill level 2/5) make them ideal for gently working on cuticles and the natural nail plate – they work well for cleaning the nail plate, pushing back and lifting cuticles, and removing hardened skin, corns, calluses, and plantar warts. They can be used both dry and with water cooling.

Remember to clean and sterilise the tool before its first use and before each subsequent use.

Sterilization and cleaning

Before first use, disinfect the instruments in a disinfectant solution for 30 minutes. Do not use disinfectants based on active oxygen.
After each use, remove any organic particles. Then clean the instruments ultrasonically or under running water. Repeat if necessary. After cleaning, dry the tool, otherwise it may corrode. Sterilize the instruments under the following conditions:

at 1 atm overpressure at 121°C for 15 minutes, or at 2 atm at 132–134°C for 5 minutes.
