Diamond Long Flame Bit (243R.514.014-021) allows for outstanding control thanks to its gentleness (skill level 2/5, red band). It is ideal for delicate cuticle and natural nail plate work and matting its surface – it is indispensable for the painting-under-cuticles technique and cleaning the "pocket". It works well for smoothing nail edges, deeper epidermis removal and pocket penetration, cleaning the underside of the free edge of the nail plate, pushing back and removing cuticles, shortening the nail plate, and smoothing and removing calluses from the nail folds. Suitable for both dry use and with water cooling.

Due to the delicacy of the client's tissues, make fast but precise movements with proper hand support. The bit can be sterilized in an autoclave.

Sterilization and cleaning

Before first use, disinfect the instruments in a disinfectant solution for 30 minutes. Do not use disinfectants based on active oxygen.
After each use, remove any organic particles. Then clean the instruments ultrasonically or under running water. Repeat if necessary. After cleaning, dry the tool, otherwise it may corrode. Sterilize the instruments under the following conditions:

at 1 atm overpressure at 121°C for 15 minutes, or at 2 atm at 132–134°C for 5 minutes.
