Description

Diamond point bits (166.514.018-025) with fine grit allow for incredible control thanks to their gentleness – they are ideal for refining and removing cuticles at the nail fold (skill level 5/5, red band). They are suitable for removing nail art, drilling holes for nail piercing, cleaning the underside of the free edge of the nail plate, matting the tip shelf, treating heel fissures, matting and smoothing the natural nail plate, removing calluses from nail folds, and evening out the edges of the nail plate. They work both dry and with water cooling.

The bits can be sterilized in an autoclave – remember to clean the tool before the first and every subsequent use.

Sterilization and cleaning

Before first use, disinfect the instruments in a disinfectant solution for 30 minutes. Do not use disinfectants based on active oxygen.
After each use, remove any organic particles. Then clean the instruments ultrasonically or under running water. Repeat if necessary. After cleaning, dry the tool, otherwise it may corrode. Sterilize the instruments under the following conditions:

at 1 atm overpressure at 121°C for 15 minutes, or at 2 atm at 132–134°C for 5 minutes.
