Description

Diamond truncated cone bits (172.514.018-040) allow incredible control in use thanks to their gentleness (skill level 2/5, red band). The truncated cone shape is perfect for pushing tissue away with its flat surface – it can even replace a pusher! It also pushes back and lifts cuticles, pre-removes epidermis, mattifies the natural nail plate, and smooths the step between the natural nail plate and the built nail service. They can be used both dry and with water cooling.

Remember to clean and sterilise the tool before its first use and before each subsequent use.

Sterilization and cleaning

Before first use, disinfect the instruments in a disinfectant solution for 30 minutes. Do not use disinfectants based on active oxygen.
After each use, remove any organic particles. Then clean the instruments ultrasonically or under running water. Repeat if necessary. After cleaning, dry the tool, otherwise it may corrode. Sterilize the instruments under the following conditions:

at 1 atm overpressure at 121°C for 15 minutes, or at 2 atm at 132–134°C for 5 minutes.
