Description

Diamond podiatry bit (199.514.021) with fine diamond grit was designed with precise and safe podiatry work in mind. The rounded cone shape and gentle grit provide excellent control when cleaning the underside of the free edge of the nail plate, nail folds and hard-to-reach areas. The bit is also suitable for removing callused epidermis and nails, matting the natural nail plate and smoothing the border between the plate and the nail enhancement.

The tool can be used both dry and with water cooling, which increases comfort and versatility of work. Diameter 2.1 mm, working part height 10 mm and recommended speed 7–15 thousand RPM make the bit ideally suited for precise podiatry treatments, ensuring accuracy, safety and ease of use.

Yes, all IQNails bits can be sterilized in an autoclave.

Sterilization and cleaning

Before first use, disinfect the instruments in a disinfectant solution for 30 minutes. Do not use disinfectants based on active oxygen.
After each use, remove any organic particles. Then clean the instruments ultrasonically or under running water. Repeat if necessary. After cleaning, dry the tool, otherwise it may corrode. Sterilize the instruments under the following conditions:

at 1 atm overpressure at 121°C for 15 minutes, or at 2 atm at 132–134°C for 5 minutes.
