Description

Diamond rounded cone bits (198.514.014-023) with fine grit allow incredible control in use thanks to their gentleness (skill level 1/5, red band). They are ideal for gently working on cuticles and the natural nail plate – they mattify its surface, preparing it for nail service application. They work well for cleaning the nail plate, pushing back and away cuticles, mattifying the tip edge, cleaning the lateral nail folds, and removing thickened or hardened cuticles and nails, even for treating heel fissures. They are suitable for use both dry and with water cooling.

The bits can be sterilised in an autoclave.

Sterilization and cleaning

Before first use, disinfect the instruments in a disinfectant solution for 30 minutes. Do not use disinfectants based on active oxygen.
After each use, remove any organic particles. Then clean the instruments ultrasonically or under running water. Repeat if necessary. After cleaning, dry the tool, otherwise it may corrode. Sterilize the instruments under the following conditions:

at 1 atm overpressure at 121°C for 15 minutes, or at 2 atm at 132–134°C for 5 minutes.
