Description

Diamond cylinder bits (225.514.016-023) wider at the top, with fine grit, allow incredible control in use thanks to their gentleness (skill level 2/5, red band). They are ideal for working on cuticles and the natural nail plate: smoothing skin and the nail surface, pushing back proximal and lateral folds, creating a perfect C-curve, as well as removing hardened skin, corns, calluses, and plantar warts. They also work well for shortening natural, gel, and acrylic nail plates and pushing tissue away with the flat surface. They work both dry and with water cooling.

Remember to clean and sterilise the tool before its first use and before each subsequent use.

Sterilization and cleaning

Before first use, disinfect the instruments in a disinfectant solution for 30 minutes. Do not use disinfectants based on active oxygen.
After each use, remove any organic particles. Then clean the instruments ultrasonically or under running water. Repeat if necessary. After cleaning, dry the tool, otherwise it may corrode. Sterilize the instruments under the following conditions:

at 1 atm overpressure at 121°C for 15 minutes, or at 2 atm at 132–134°C for 5 minutes.
