Description

Long truncated cone bit (173.524.012-031) with standard grit is effective for pushing back cuticles and removing the epidermis – it is suitable for the first stage of cuticle work (skill level 2/5, blue marker). Thanks to its medium grit it allows for slightly more intervention and is recommended for more hardened, tough cuticles. It is suitable for cleaning the nail plate, pushing back and lifting cuticles, initially retracting the epidermis, and thanks to its flat surface it also enables pushing back tissue, matting the natural nail plate, and smoothing the step between the natural nail plate and the built-up nail enhancement – it is a perfect replacement for a pusher! It is suitable for use both dry and with water cooling.

Sterilization and cleaning

Before first use, disinfect the instruments in a disinfectant solution for 30 minutes. Do not use disinfectants based on active oxygen.
After each use, remove any organic particles. Then clean the instruments ultrasonically or under running water. Repeat if necessary. After cleaning, dry the tool, otherwise it may corrode. Sterilize the instruments under the following conditions:

at 1 atm overpressure at 121°C for 15 minutes, or at 2 atm at 132–134°C for 5 minutes.
