Description

Diamond bit 540.514.010 with gentle grit and flame shape is a precise tool for treating cuticles and the natural nail plate. Thanks to a diameter of 1.0 mm it provides excellent work control, performing well during the painting under cuticles technique, cleaning the nail "pocket", pushing back and lifting cuticles and smoothing the nail folds. The bit also enables the removal of deposits from nails and gentle smoothing of the nail plate edges.

The tool is also used in podiatry – it helps remove callused skin, corns, calluses and hard corns, and reduce fissures and cracks. Recommended working speed is 7–15 thousand RPM. The bit can be sterilized in an autoclave and used both dry and with water cooling, ensuring comfort and safety during every treatment.

Sterilization and cleaning

Before first use, disinfect the instruments in a disinfectant solution for 30 minutes. Do not use disinfectants based on active oxygen.
After each use, remove any organic particles. Then clean the instruments ultrasonically or under running water. Repeat if necessary. After cleaning, dry the tool, otherwise it may corrode. Sterilize the instruments under the following conditions:

at 1 atm overpressure at 121°C for 15 minutes, or at 2 atm at 132–134°C for 5 minutes.
