Podiatry diamond cylinder bit (157R.514.050) with fine grit allows incredible control in use thanks to its gentleness (skill level 2/5, red band). It is ideal for gently working on cuticles and the natural nail plate, working well for smoothing skin and nails as well as shortening nails. Thanks to its rounded edges, the risk of injury is minimised, and the bit works both dry and with water cooling.

The bit can be sterilised in an autoclave – remember to clean the tool before its first use and before each subsequent use.

Sterilization and cleaning

Before first use, disinfect the instruments in a disinfectant solution for 30 minutes. Do not use disinfectants based on active oxygen.
After each use, remove any organic particles. Then clean the instruments ultrasonically or under running water. Repeat if necessary. After cleaning, dry the tool, otherwise it may corrode. Sterilize the instruments under the following conditions:

at 1 atm overpressure at 121°C for 15 minutes, or at 2 atm at 132–134°C for 5 minutes.
