Podiatry diamond bit (113.514.060) is a tool for those who value precision and gentleness when working on cuticles and the natural nail plate. Thanks to its fine grit, it provides excellent control, and the cylinder shape with a red band (skill level 1.5/5) makes it perfect for cleaning and smoothing the proximal area, pushing back cuticles, and removing hardened skin, corns and calluses. It is made of stainless steel with a universal 2.35 mm shank, fitting any nail drill – you can use it both dry and with water cooling.

The bit can be fully sterilized in an autoclave, meeting safety standards – remember to clean and sterilize the tool before each use.

Sterilization and cleaning

Before first use, disinfect the instruments in a disinfectant solution for 30 minutes. Do not use disinfectants based on active oxygen.
After each use, remove any organic particles. Then clean the instruments ultrasonically or under running water. Repeat if necessary. After cleaning, dry the tool, otherwise it may corrode. Sterilize the instruments under the following conditions:

at 1 atm overpressure at 121°C for 15 minutes, or at 2 atm at 132–134°C for 5 minutes.
