Podiatry diamond bit (110.534.050) with collecting grit is ideal for podiatry when working on tough, more overgrown and demanding cuticles (skill level 4/5, green band). It is suitable for refining nails before applying staples or hardening materials, pushing back and lifting cuticles, cleaning hardened nails, shortening and matting the nail plate, and removing hardened, tough skin, corns, calluses and hard corns.

Remember to clean and sterilize the tool before the first and every subsequent use.

Sterilization and cleaning

Before first use, disinfect the instruments in a disinfectant solution for 30 minutes. Do not use disinfectants based on active oxygen.
After each use, remove any organic particles. Then clean the instruments ultrasonically or under running water. Repeat if necessary. After cleaning, dry the tool, otherwise it may corrode. Sterilize the instruments under the following conditions:

at 1 atm overpressure at 121°C for 15 minutes, or at 2 atm at 132–134°C for 5 minutes.
