Diamond bit 166.524.018 with standard grit and point shape is a precise tool designed for advanced treatment of nail folds and hard-to-reach areas near the nail plate. Diameter 1.8 mm ensures high accuracy of work, making the bit excellent for cleaning the proximal part of the nail plate, evening out its edges and removing calluses and debris from beneath the nail. The model is recommended by PODOLAND.

The bit is designed to work at a speed of 7–10 thousand RPM and can be used both dry and with water cooling, ensuring comfort and precision during podiatry treatments and specialist manicure. Thanks to the possibility of sterilization in an autoclave it meets the high hygiene standards required in professional clinics.

Sterilization and cleaning

Before first use, disinfect the instruments in a disinfectant solution for 30 minutes. Do not use disinfectants based on active oxygen.
After each use, remove any organic particles. Then clean the instruments ultrasonically or under running water. Repeat if necessary. After cleaning, dry the tool, otherwise it may corrode. Sterilize the instruments under the following conditions:

at 1 atm overpressure at 121°C for 15 minutes, or at 2 atm at 132–134°C for 5 minutes.
