Innovative diamond 4-in-1 bit (157.DA.524.050) is a multi-tasking tool created for the most demanding podiatry treatments. The special DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coating provides exceptional resistance to abrasion, corrosion and intensive work at high speeds, and the innovative construction enables simultaneous shortening of nails, treating reconstructions and working with hard materials such as acrylic, gel or dental composite. The diamond tip allows nails to be shortened quickly and safely without having to change the bit.

Made from hardened martensitic stainless steel, the bit is distinguished by exceptional durability and resistance to abrasion. Fine cross-cut grooves and a rounded shape enable precise treatment of hard-to-reach areas of the nail plate and effective removal of exceptionally hard fragments of material. Diameter 5.0 mm, working part height 7 mm and standard grit make this a versatile tool for specialists expecting maximum precision and working comfort.

Sterilization and cleaning

Before first use, disinfect the instruments in a disinfectant solution for 30 minutes. Do not use disinfectants based on active oxygen.
After each use, remove any organic particles. Then clean the instruments ultrasonically or under running water. Repeat if necessary. After cleaning, dry the tool, otherwise it may corrode. Sterilize the instruments under the following conditions:

at 1 atm overpressure at 121°C for 15 minutes, or at 2 atm at 132–134°C for 5 minutes.
