Description

Like Mandrel by Paulina Pastuszak is an innovative diamond bit (111.X514.050 ZRN) with Cool Bits technology and a NANO ZRN coating, created for gentle cuticle treatment and natural nail plate work (skill level 1.5/5). The cylinder shape with a red band and fine grit provide maximum control during work. Innovative cross-cuts improve air circulation, reduce overheating and increase user comfort.

The NANO ZRN coating protects the diamond grit from chipping, extends the bit's lifespan and increases its resistance to daily sterilization and disinfection. The bit works excellently for pushing back and lifting cuticles, matting the natural nail plate, treating soft product near the cuticles, removing flooded product fragments and calluses on the lateral folds. It is a durable and more eco-friendly alternative to a classic mandrel with paper sleeves.

The bit was created in collaboration with Paulina Pastuszak – Poland's first court-appointed expert in nail styling, co-owner of an Online Academy, an educator conducting training on five continents and co-host of the programme "Kosmetyczne Rewolucje" on TVN Style. She is also a laureate of the Businesswoman of the Year award, author of the bestselling lexicons "Wyssane z palca®", a doctoral student at the Medical University of Gdansk, a behavioural profiler and a business trainer. Her experience and practical knowledge resulted in a tool that meets the needs of modern nail technicians.

Sterilization and cleaning

Before first use, disinfect the instruments in a disinfectant solution for 30 minutes. Do not use disinfectants based on active oxygen.
After each use, remove any organic particles. Then clean the instruments ultrasonically or under running water. Repeat if necessary. After cleaning, dry the tool, otherwise it may corrode. Sterilize the instruments under the following conditions:

at 1 atm overpressure at 121°C for 15 minutes, or at 2 atm at 132–134°C for 5 minutes.
