IQN Package – Long flame 021 is a set of 5 diamond bits (243R.524.021) with standard grit (skill level 2/5, blue band), created for precise cuticle work and nail fold care. The long flame shape provides excellent control during work, making the bits ideal for lifting and cleaning folds, pushing back and removing cuticles, as well as deeper removal of epidermis and penetrating the nail pocket. It is an indispensable tool during combined manicure and work requiring the highest precision.

The bit also works excellently for smoothing the nail edge, filing the natural nail plate, smoothing the step between the natural nail plate and the built-up design, and cleaning the underside of the free nail edge. Thanks to its versatility, it also finds use in treating callused skin, corns, calluses, and hard corns, making it suitable for both nail design and podiatry.

Sterilization and cleaning

Before first use, disinfect the instruments in a disinfectant solution for 30 minutes. Do not use disinfectants based on active oxygen.
After each use, remove any organic particles. Then clean the instruments ultrasonically or under running water. Repeat if necessary. After cleaning, dry the tool, otherwise it may corrode. Sterilize the instruments under the following conditions:

at 1 atm overpressure at 121°C for 15 minutes, or at 2 atm at 132–134°C for 5 minutes.
