Black Coating Bits: Premium DLC Carbide Bits
Premium DLC carbide bits with a black coating are professional tools designed for nail technicians who expect exceptional precision, durability, and maximum working comfort. These bits are made from high-quality sintered carbide and coated with titanium- and aluminium-based layers, giving them high hardness and excellent heat resistance. Enhanced with a DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coating, they provide a service life many times longer than standard bits and exceptional smoothness during use. The black coating increases the surface hardness of the tool to 3300–3500 HV and its resistance to high temperatures and abrasion, which significantly extends the tool's working life – up to several times longer compared to uncoated bits – and reduces production costs. The AlTiN coating allows working at operating temperatures of up to 900°C.
What Sets DLC-Coated Sintered Carbide Bits Apart?
-
Resistance to overheating – the black coating minimises the heating of the tool during use, protecting the natural nail plate and increasing client comfort.
-
High hardness – the bit works for a long time, does not dull, and maintains sharpness even under intensive use.
-
Hygiene and safety – the smooth DLC coating surface minimises material adhesion and facilitates chip evacuation during nail surface work.
-
Strongest grit level – the black colour of bits indicates the strongest grit level, ideal for removing hard materials.
-
Perfect performance – bits do not generate vibrations and allow precise work on the material and cuticles.
Ideal for Working with:
-
gel, acrylic, and hybrid polish – black-coating bits are ideal for effectively removing gel, acrylic, and hybrid polish, minimising the risk of injury when working close to cuticles; the black tungsten bit features an oval, rounded shape with sharp, spiral cuts ensuring fast and comfortable work,
-
filing hybrid polish – the sintered carbide bit is designed for removing hybrid polish, gels, and acrylics, as well as for working on the natural nail plate,
-
removing hard materials – the black cone-shaped bit made from sintered carbide is ideal for correcting artificial nails and removing gel polish and hard coatings; bits with AlTiN coating can cut materials with a hardness exceeding 50–60 HRC,
-
lateral nail fold work,
-
combination manicure and pedicure.

Tips and Information
A sintered carbide bit is the ideal choice for working with various materials such as acrylic, hybrid polish, and gel. To avoid excessive pressure and ensure nail plate safety, use the appropriate working speed: for material removal, 15,000–25,000 rpm is recommended; for cuticle work, 5,000–15,000 rpm.
When choosing a bit, pay attention to its shape and intended use. The black-coating cone works well with hard materials such as gel and acrylic, while the 3-flute fi 6 x 25 x 75 mm DLC carbide bit is ideal for machining metals and non-ferrous materials.
Thanks to the use of high-quality sintered carbide, the bits are abrasion-resistant and retain their properties even under intensive use. Each bit can be sterilised in an autoclave, guaranteeing hygiene and safety.
Before placing an order, check the bit's properties, coating, and material – all information can be found in the cart. Also see tips and detailed information on the manufacturer's website to choose the bit ideal for your needs and type of work.
